A v-neck t-shirt is a style of shirt similar to a crew neck that has a relaxed v-shaped neckline. Like crew necks, these shirts don't have a collar and are often worn as an undershirt.
V-necks were created sometime in the 1960s after the Second World War. Over time, they grew in popularity because of how they shape the wearer.
They offer a tight or relaxed fit depending on your style and gender. Many men prefer to wear tight-fitting v-necks because of the way they sculpt their bodies. For women, a tight-fitting v-neck is a classic top that's spruced up with jewelry and other accessories for a casual date night.
Before printing your unique designs onto a random brand of v-neck, you've got to know the best shirts for printing. Here's our list of the 5 best wholesale v-neck t-shirts you can get today.

Printing on v-necks is a bit different than printing on crew necks. Crew necks have a lot of space for you to place your designs. V-necks on the other hand don't have nearly as much room and require precise graphic placements in order for them to look good.
As a general rule of thumb, it's recommended you place your graphics 1 to 1.5 inches down from the neckline. If you're using a heat press, most pros recommend draping the neckline off of the platen to create an even surface ideal for printing.
When printing shirts designed for women be mindful of the location of your graphics and how they will stretch around their figures. Stick to the center, as you don't want to place them anywhere suggestive— unless that's the clear intent of the shirt.
To find the center of a v-neck t-shirt, fold the shirt lengthwise then line up the shoulder seams and bottom of the shirt. Next, iron a crease and fold the shirt in half starting from the armpit. Then press the shirt again with your iron and unfold.
The center of your shirt is located where the two creases meet.
The back of the shirt doesn't require as much consideration about graphic placement as the front. On the backside, measure out at least 3 inches down from the center of the neckline to allow plenty of room for the design to shine.
Custom t-shirt printing starts with the right base. Blank v-neck t-shirts are perfect for your customers and followers that don't want to be restricted by crew necks and let their chests breathe.
